Tarts for Troops 2013 will take place during the week of 29th June – 5th July. Registration for this year’s event is now open!

  • Show off your baking skills by making your own tarts to sell.
  • Simply pop to the shop and buy some of your favourite tarts to share.
  • Ask friends or colleagues to help by baking or buying some and bringing them along ‚ because a variety of different tarts will make for an even more delicious event and help you raise more money for blind veterans.

When

Tarts for Troops runs from 29th June – 5th July 2013. We hope as many people as possible will organise their events during that week, but you can have your Tarts for Troops event any time you like. Just register and we’ll help you make it easy, fun, safe and successful.

Where

Tarts for Troops events will be happening in and around our centres in Brighton, Sheffield and Llandudno, and a variety of other locations across the UK‚ wherever our supporters want to share tarts and raise funds for blind veterans.

You can hold your Tarts for Troops event at work, and invite your colleagues or customers, at home, with family and friends, at your church, with other members of the congregation, at your local pub, with the regulars, or with other members of your or community group. Anywhere that’s easy for people to come together will make a good venue for your event.

How

Your Tarts for Troops event can be as simple or as fancy as you wish.

Get together with colleagues, friends, family, members of your church or community group, for a Tarts for Troops party ‚ asking for donations in exchange for your tarts. Have your tarts with morning coffee or afternoon tea, share tarts at lunch or for dinner with a glass or two of fizz.
