Bake tarts – sell tarts – raise money for blind veterans!

Bakewell tarts, lemon tarts, cheese tarts, any kind of tart – all are called upon to do their bit to support blind ex-Service men and women between 29 June – 5 July 2013.

Tarts for Troops is about having fun and raising money to help blind veterans. A host of celebrities have shown their support for this year’s campaign by donating some wonderful sweet and savoury tart recipes, including Gordon Ramsay, Lorraine Pascale, Gregg Wallace, Tamasin Day Lewis, Phil Vickery and Mary-Anne Boermans.

Whether you’re holding a bake-off, a tarts and tea party, getting together with colleagues at work for tarts with your morning coffee, or having friends around for a gourmet tart dinner party, make sure you register your event so we can support you with tips to make organising your event easy, safe and successful.

Tarts for Troops is a fun and easy way to support Blind Veterans UK. Just get your cookbooks out or visit our Tart recipe page for delicious recipes (or you can pop to the shop and buy some tarts!) then get together with colleagues, friends or family for a Tarts for Troops party, asking for donations in exchange for your tarts to raise vital funds so that our veterans do not have to battle blindness alone.
